Join us for an exciting tour of RIT's AMPrint Center. RIT’s AMPrint Center conducts applied R&D involving next-generation 3D printing and additive manufacturing processes, materials, and applications. During this tour, attendees will get to see a new metal droplet jetting technology being developed by Xerox, a massive 3D printer that prints parts nearly 2 meters long, carbon fiber composite 3D printers, and much more. Attendees will also get to see novel applications of 3D printing such as full color medical and anthropological models, engineered cellular materials used in shock absorbers, and printed electronic circuits.

See attached document for directions to the RIT AMPrint Center. Meet up after the tour at Lovin' Cup (300 Park Point Dr, Rochester, NY 14623) for appertizers.

Our tour guide will be Denis Cormier.

Denis is the Earl W. Brinkman Professor at RIT, where he also directs the New York State funded Additive Manufacturing and Multifunctional Printing (AMPrint) Center. He has worked in the area of additive manufacturing and 3D printing for nearly 25 years. Most recently, his research has focused on multi-functional additive manufacturing in which materials serving mechanical, electrical, optical, thermal, or other functions are incorporated into 3D printed components.
