Joint ISM/APICS Dinner Meeting

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS 3/11/19

Join us for the spectacular ISM/APICS Professional Development Meeting Night. The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) is the first and largest not-for-profit professional supply management organization worldwide. Founded in 1915, ISM has over 50,000 members located in 100 countries. This is a yearly, collaborative event that gives members of both organzations a chance to network and learn form each other. Event details are as follows:

Presenter:  Jaison Abel from The Federal Reserve Bank of New York

The Presenter

Jaison Abel is an Assistant Vice President and Head of the Regional Analysis Function at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He serves on the Federal Reserve System Committee on Regional Analysis, and provides economic analysis of the Second Federal Reserve District. His primary research interests are in the fields of urban and regional economics, industrial organization, the economics of innovation, and public finance. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from The Ohio State University and a bachelor's degree in economics from the State University of New York at Geneseo.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks which, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), the Federal Advisory Council, the Consumer Advisory Council, and the member banks, compose the Federal Reserve System. As the U.S. central bank, the Federal Reserve is responsible for formulating and executing monetary policy, supervising and regulating depository institutions, ensuring the smooth flow of payments, and providing banking services to the U.S. government and depository institutions.
